Like many Brits in Crete?
Does anyone have an answer to just how many are British expatriates living in Crete? Currently is a property hot spots throughout the Mediterranean. Looks like an aweful lot of newcomers are setting up home in the last 12 months. Many retiring in Crete for its warmer climate compared to the UK, and it seems that a lot of young people are working these days in Crete too. There should be plenty of life in Crete "candidates" if the job search listings on Crete forums are anything to judge by.
There is no official number of British life in Crete, but an estimate is about 5,000 people. Most British expatriates living in the West Crete, particularly in the area Apokoronas.
