Where should I go on vacation, Turkey, Cyprus or Crete?
I want to go on holiday with my partner but we have not decided where to go yet. I 34 and she is 28. We are interested in rest by the pool, or go to a water park, go to food, and excursions to interesting places. We do not want stay at a resort that is lively. I've been to Turkey before and really enjoyed it and I wonder if we should go there – stay in Kusadasi or side, I would go to Pamukkale and Ephesus perhaps. The other places we have in mind are Crete and Cyprus, but I've never gone to anyone. Which of the 3 places you recommend to go and Why? What attractions are there to see or do? What area will you recommend to stay at? Thanks
Come to Protaras in Cyprus! A lot of good hotels, located mostly along the coast of some great beaches and all within walking distance of a good range of shops, bars and restaurants …. and From here, you're only a short journey by car / taxi / bus ride from the station of Agia Napa …. livlier and not be discouraged son't please …. no all of its beer louts and cruise the booze! There is a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants and clubs which are mainly located in the Plaza at the top of Napa. Take a relaxing boat ride from the port along the coast, passing through the sea caves, Cavo Greko, Konno Bay, Flamingo Bay, Bay Fig Tree, and in the buffer zone near the ghost town of Famagusta, where the ship turns around for the return trip home. the boat usually stops a few times along the way for those who want to swim or dive in some of the beautiful coves. Agia Napa also has a water park worth a visit. Take one of the newspapers local (Cyprus Mail), which often find discount coupons. If you hire a car, then have the opportunity to get out and about, visiting the old town of Nicosia, and if you remember to take your passport, then you can walk along the buffer zone at the checkpoint at Ledra Street and cross to the Turkish occupied part of the city. visit the Troodos Mountains …….. nice cool rest when its too hot for the coast! Drive through the western part of the island and visit Kolossi Castillo, or not far away, the amphitheater at Kourion, and from here, its only a short drive to Paphos, where you can vsist the old fort in the harbor …. and may have dreink one and something to eat in one of the many restaurants that sit around the port. Also in Paphos are mosaic Dionysoss House, near the port, and only a short drive drive, the Tombs of the Kings. If you decide to come to Cyprus, the edge of a small amount of euros with you, and change the rest of the money when you get here ….. will a better exchange rate here than in the UK, do not say that he intends to come, but I suggest you avoid August, not only very hot, August is the Cypriot moment to take your vacation ….. and it's really busy tourist centers.
