Crete is good for a honeymoon?
I'm getting married in June 2008 and have been told by some people that Crete is a beautiful place and would highly recommend that for a holiday. We are thinking of going to 10 nights. It is worth going to Crete for this period of time? Are there enough things to do to keep us busy for 9-10 days? What is the weather / beaches / food / locales like? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
SI – Crete is perfect for a honeymoon! I went there last summer with a couple of friends and its so nice place. theres scuba diving activities and the economic groups (which plunged to see a shipreck), the sunsets are amazing – all the people are friendly, the beaches are amazing and its not too busy. The climate is hot in summer – but there were some clouds in the sky a couple of days during my stay – For i 10nights advise renting a villa, and getting way more to do! good luck
