I can know how the star ratings of hotels abroad, and given this rating?
I'm going on holiday to Crete, and the company I travel with have stated that the hotel we stay is 3 *, but the feedback I've found on the internet about this accommodation has only one * 1 and other company has given a * 2, I have reservations to go now, but have paid for the holiday. Now I'm thinking how I feel about changing my vacation, or get my money?
Unfortunately there is no internationally standardized classification of hotel ratings, and be aware that the star ratings can be misleading. You recommend you contact the local tourist office and try to learn about the hotel in which you want to stay on. It should have information reliable information about the quality of their services there. Of course, you can try to find another accommodation. Good luck!
