Greece is the who has everything: a rich history, many legends, mighty mythical Gods and picturesque views of their land and sea. It is a sin not to travel at least once in a lifetime to Greece and immersed in its culture and beauty. Traveling from one island to another is an adventure in itself room. I will mention only some of the islands most popular and famous. The island of Crete is the largest of them all. The island can be considered as a new country in itself. It has good road the north side and many archaeological sites to visit and enjoy.
The interior is covered with mountains and the southern part of the island is less developed then its northern region. One of the sites would not Minoan Palace of Knossos. You can only take a bus to this place and enjoy the restored labyrinths palace. Another island that captured my attention with its unique beauty is the island of Santorini. The capital city of the island is Fira. It has great white buildings with stairs winding that lead to the sea. white churches with blue domes, so the appearance of the building blend with the blue sky. It is a romantic place and went to gate marry or to enjoy a honeymoon. If you do not have enough time to travel far from Athens, then visit the island of Hydra. It is more expensive than other islands, but have a nice port, good pubs, shopping fun. It's much more to go see in Greece. Travel agencies offer shades of cruises and tours. Just spend some time researching what type of vacation you are looking for there. You can find everything from for spontaneous and more independently by car or bus, which very well guided tours, organized by travel agencies. No matter what kind of personality you have, you can find all kinds of sites and activities to enjoy, create unforgettable memories.
