The best place for a vacation in Greece in mid-September?
I am planning a vacation of 10 days with my 2 friends (students 21 years of age) to Greece in September and need help choosing where to go. Any recommendations in a place that: 1) Good lively nightclubs (the hope that even are open in September?). Esp nightclubs in the classic sense – with a bar dance floor, not a bar with a small spot near the dance. 2) Nice, clean beaches. (I've been in Paralia Katerini and loved the sea (Adriatic?) – It was very clear with fish swimming close to shore.) 3) Ideally a relatively big city where they are some of the cafes, place to visit – not just a collection of clubs. 4) More than a place with young tourists age students. As I understand, are not 4 the candidates of this list: Mykonos, Rhodes, Crete, Corfu. Can you comment on these 4 with selection criteria in mind? Some simple comparison would be appreciated. Also, Could you tell us something about the fire? These were significantly damaged sites? I like to travel to a place burned.
I would say that Crete is the best place for September.
